We are delighted to announce the official registration guidelines for the National College English Test (CET), commonly known as the English Proficiency Test. The forthcoming CET is scheduled to take place on September 10th, 2023. Please carefully review the following details regarding registration procedures and requirements.
1. Eligibility:
All full-time undergraduate students currently enrolled in Chinese colleges and universities are eligible to participate in the CET. It is important to note that graduate students or students enrolled in non-degree programs are not eligible to register for this examination.
2. Registration Period:
The online registration for the CET will begin on August 1st and conclude on August 31st, 2023. During this period, eligible candidates must complete the registration process, including submitting the required documents and paying the examination fee.
3. Registration Process:
To register for the CET, please follow these steps:
a. Visit the official website of the National Education Examinations Authority (NEEA) at www.neea.edu.cn and create an individual account.
b. After creating an account, log in and navigate to the CET registration page.
c. Complete the online registration form with accurate personal information, including your full name, identification number, contact details, and university name.
d. Upload a recent passport-sized photograph (less than six months old) with a white background. Ensure that your face is clearly visible and that there are no obstructions such as hats or sunglasses.
e. Review the information you have provided, then submit the registration form.
f. Proceed to make the payment of the examination fee through the designated online platform. The current fee for the CET is ¥120, payable via electronic payment methods.
g. once the payment is /confirm/ied, you will receive an email notification regarding the successful registration. Please keep this confirmation email for future reference.
4. Admit Card:
After the registration period ends, the NEEA will release the CET admit cards on the official website. Candidates can download and print their admit cards by logging into their individual accounts. The admit card includes essential information such as examination details, test center location, and candidate identification number. Admit cards must be presented on the day of the examination for entrance into the test center.
5. Test Day Guidelines:
On September 10th, 2023, all registered candidates should arrive at their designated test centers at least 30 minutes before the scheduled examination time. It is mandatory to bring the admit card, a valid identification document (such as a valid passport or national ID card), and writing materials (pen, pencil, eraser).
